Speed Dating with Fastlife allows consumers to receive an introduction to an individual, review their personality and background and consider a possible attraction, all in seven minutes. Fastlife events are held in locations throughout North America including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Washington DC, New York, Seattle, Phildelphia and San Diego. Singles come together at events where 20 - 30 people meet in a centrally-located lounge bar. Over drinks the Fastlife clients meet and assess each other. After the initial 7-minute meeting each member decides whether he’d like to meet a particular individual again for dating purposes. The Fastlife method is based on the concept of speed dating. Consumers begin by registering (for free at no cost, no hidden fees) and providing the Fastlife staff with basic personal information and feedback along with some guidelines that describe the kind of partner that they’d like to meet. Members receive invitations to events in their area and respond electronically to confirm participation at an event. At the event, each member is greeted by the host and given a private folder in which he writes down the names of the people that he meets -- approximately 10 - 15 meetings per event. After the event, which lasts from one to two hours, each member reviews the list of new acquaintances and marks whether he’d like to meet any of them again. If two members both indicate that they’d like to meet again for a matchmaking date, Fastlife will facilitate a formal contact.

| I’m very lucky that I travel frequently for business because that’s what enabled me to attend so many Fastlife events. I can understand that a person who doesn’t have my abilities to travel would submit a consumer complaint if he didn’t live close to one of the Fastlife centers and, in fact, I don’t know if I would recommend Fastlife to people who don’t live in one of their core areas. But for people who live in any of the major Fastlife regions, there are no complaints. The frequency of events is pretty steady, the clientele is intelligent, there are members from different ethnic groups, people are attractive and there are many different age ranges represented. So, pretty much, whatever type of person that you’re looking for tends to attend Fastlife events. At one point I was dating several women in different cities, but eventually I found the one that was right for me. I read somewhere a number of newspapers, including the New York Times, recommended Fastlife for great matchmaking results and I can only confirm that, in my case, that’s true. |
