SinglesNet has been matching singles since 2004 and has a large database of members who are interested in meeting other singles for purposes of social introductions, dating and long-term relationships. SinglesNet offers the opportunity to try their service on a trial basis for free, no charge or membership fees. The SinglesNet dating site features state-of-the-art personality profiling which allows clients to more thoroughly review the background and personality of potential matches. SinglesNet allows individuals to contact members for free, to receive, read and reply to e-mails from members. Individuals answer some basic questions when they sign up, including data about hobbies, interests, educational background, occupation and reviews of relationship expectations. Once a single signs up they can edit their profile at any time. Individuals are invited to post photos on their profile and then locate possible matches through a zip code search or the compatibility match system. Non-paying members are allowed to search and send and receive “winks and flirts.” They can also receive profiles of possible matches directly into their personal inbox. When a member decides that he's ready to communicate with another member, he must upgrade his membership. Upgrading a membership raises a member’s profile so that it receives a higher priority than standard member searches. A 30-day money back guarantee insures that members who have unresolved complaints recoup their membership fee.

| I’ve kept a log about my dating experiences on the various dating websites that maintain a presence in Knoxville. I’ve met dozens of men, dated several of them and even had a few long-term relationships with several of the men that I’ve met. But my major complaint about all of these sites (I’ve taken out membership in six separate sites) is that they act as though, if you don’t live in a major large metropolitan area, you can either get used to your single status or you should start thinking about moving. I understand the statistics, but I take care of elderly parents and moving isn’t really an option for me. Yet I would like to get married and have a family. SinglesNet was the first site that I came across that made an effort to attract singles from many different areas, including my own. I did meet someone from Charlotte through SinglesNet and, while it’s not next door, it’s also not on the other side of the country. |
